H2O Aquapark is one of the places to visit if you want to have some more fun before or after games. It is an indoor water park that contains a wide variety of attractions.
For example, it is possible to enjoy huge slides, chill in pools that have different light effects as well as take a Roman bath. Appropriate for both adults and children, this place is worth visiting if you want to relax.
If you are planning to attend the World Cup 2018 with your family, you can also use your spare time to stop over at the Laboratorium. The latter is meant to be for children but, more often than not, the adults accompanying them also find it as interesting.
The reason is that it offers the possibility to learn a lot of interesting stuff related to science. In addition, it provides an interactive experience, which means that it will not get boring after a few minutes.
The Upside Down House is ideal for groups of friends. As its name suggests, it is a house in which all furniture has been turned upside down and stuck to the ceiling, giving the impression that the building has been flipped. This is the place to go if you want some epic photographs to bring back home.
That is not all as festivals are also organised in the area from time to time. For example, during the World Cup, there will be the Cucumber festival.
Rostov Russia
Closest to the Rostov Arena is the Golubaya Volna. Located next to the Don River, the resort is about 500 meters away from the stadium. It is the perfect place to rest after all the noise and movement you will experience during games. This is because the hotel is located in some sort of private park, thus making it a peaceful and silent spot.
People usually say that privilege comes at a price and this is absolutely not the case with Golubaya Volna. As a matter of fact, you can spend a night there for as little as £26 or 30 euro.
You can also opt for the Kameya Hotel, which is a bit further from the Rostov Arena than the aforementioned resort. However, there is a little detail that makes the extra distance totally worthwhile: the price.
Hold on to your seats because you are not going to believe what’s coming next. The price for a room there starts at £8 or 9 euro per night. This might be the right accommodation for you if you are tight insofar as your budget is concerned.
There also is the Hostel Teremok, that is located on the other side of the Don River. If you were thinking that the Kameya Hotel was the cheapest one, well, you’re wrong.
In fact, it only costs £5 or 6 euro to sleep in that hotel, which are some of the best rates you can find in this Russian city. The rooms are small, indeed, but they are cosy and you get a bed; it’s arguably more than what you pay for! It will suit you if you intend spending more time outside than inside.
