(Istanbul) Sabiha Gökçen International Airport
In Istanbul there are two main international airports. Istanbul International airport (IST) and Sabiha gokcen airport (SAW). The first and biggest one is the new modernized Istanbul airport (IST). All major international flights are landing to IST airport. And the other one, which works as a sub terminal on the Asian side, is Sabiha gokcen airport (SAW).
There are direct flights to Istanbul from all major cities of Europe and also direct flights to New York & Chicago via Turkish Arilines and Delta for US locations. Location — The airport is situated 12km (7 miles) north of Pendik on the Asian side and 45km (28 miles) east of the European centre of Istanbul.

Public Transport — #Bus: There is a regular shuttle bus service between the airport and the city centre (journey time – 30-45 minutes); services also connect Sabiha Gökçen International Airport and Atatürk International Airport (journey time – 60-70 minutes).
