Upon arriving at Perth train Station in Scotland you can’t help but be impressed by it’s historical architecture and stunning high roof. Although the train station was opened back in 1848 it still maintains some of the original features.
Several railway platforms are in use at the station today and trains to Edinburgh, Glasgow and London are all available. The station is manned on a part time basis and offers it’s visitors seating facilities, a café and even a post-box. The train station itself is located less than a ten minutes walk from Perth’s vibrant town centre.
Perth was the capital city of Scotland at one time and still offers some of the most stunning attractions in Scotland to it’s visitors. The historic Scone Palace, the Black Watch Castle and Museum and the incredibly beautiful Branklyn Garden are all in the local area.
