The course begins at Preston Park before heading east towards Rottingdean, then west out to Hove. It then returns to the seafront at the finish line, Madeira Drive, which is close to the pier.
The Brighton Marathon also has plenty of media coverage so you never know, you may appear on TV. Get yourself in position close to the start or finish line and have your own camera ready so you can take photos of the winner.
